Aspirations Hair & Beauty opened in 2005 offering hair and beauty treatments. Our aim is to help you relax unwind and let you enjoy your time. You will encounter a warm welcome, together with an intimate and friendly environment as you enter our salon.
Heather Thomas and Penny Edwards are a mother and daughter partnership with over 50 years of experience between them in their professions. We have a well established and dedicated hard working team all of whom have a real passion in their chosen professions.
We are proud to say that since January 2007 we have attained the Mary Cohr Elite Salon Status. This is an enviable status within the industry which few are able to reach and maintain its strict professional standards and in both 2008 and 2009 we were selected as a Finalist in the Regional Wales and South West British Beauty and Spa Awards.
Whatever your reason for visiting our salon we endeavor to meet all your requirements and to give you the very best services we can to ensure each and every visit is truly enjoyable.
All our treatment rooms provide a sense of relaxation and are equipped to carry out all beauty treatments that we provide. All our face and body treatments are carried out upstairs, in the two further rooms that we have so that you are a way from the hustle and bustle of every day noises so that you can totally unwind. Penny - Partner and Senior Therapist The Beauty Therapy team is lead by Partner of Aspirations Penny Edwards, who has over 12 years experience within the industry. I started my career when I left school by completing a 2 year apprenteship 1997/1999 in Hair and Beauty Therapy and have gained qualifications in Hairdressing level 2, 3, and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy 2, 3, Reflexology and advanced skincare. In 2005 we opened Aspirations Hair and Beauty. Over 4 years later we are still continuing to grow. “As well as managing the salon I see clients for all treatments. I have a real passion for facials and skincare in particular and have worked with numerous top skincare brands to gain a wealth of knowledge in this particular area”. |

Heather L.D.H – Partner and Hair Stylist The hairdressing team is lead by Partner of Aspirations, Heather Thomas who having trained with Vidal Sassoon, was a finalist in the L’oreal Colour Trophy Awards, qualified in Advanced Hairdressing in 1969, became a holder of a Master Craftsman diploma in 1973, now has many years of experience in all aspects of her profession. As well as managing the salon she sees clients for appointments and specializes particularly in perming, and colour correction. “I have a real passion for my profession. I get a real buzz when someone comes in with a hair disaster and after putting their trust in us, goes out feeling and looking great. I love colouring and creating luxurious curls with the modern perming techniques ”. |

Becky - Hair Stylist Becky has recently joined our team of stylists in 2009. She really enjoys making your experience as good as it can be, so that you receive the best from your hair service in the salon and at home. She enjoys all aspects of her profession and delivers excellent results. Becky has a very friendly approach that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed in her care. |
