Who we are

Aspirations Hair & Beauty originally opened in 2005 offering hair and beauty treatments. Our aim was to help you relax unwind and let you enjoy your time within the salon. However, in November 2012 we took the decision to close the salon due to extreme rent and rate increases being forced upon us, which would have made us too expensive for the area in which we traded. 

With over 50 years of experience between them in their professions Heather Thomas and Penny Edwards (mother and daughter) then took the decision to offer our services on a more personal level.

Heather now travels to you own home offering the complete range of hairdressing services once provided in the salon. 

Penny has now opened up her home in Claverham and is offering her complete range of beauty treatments from the comfort of her own house in a completely quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Meet The New Aspirations Team

	Penny - Partner and Therapist Penny Edwards, who has over 18 years experience within the industry.  I started my career when I left school by completing a 2 year apprenteship 1997/1999 in Hair and Beauty Therapy and have gained qualifications in Hairdressing level 2, 3, and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy 2, 3, Reflexology and advanced skincare.  In 2005 we opened Aspirations Hair and Beauty. Over 5 years later we are still continuing to grow. “I see clients for all beauty treatments. I have a real passion for facials and skincare in particular and have worked with numerous top skincare brands to gain a wealth of knowledge in this particular area”.
	Heather  L.D.H – Partner and Hair Stylist Heather  Thomas who having trained with Vidal Sassoon,  was a finalist in the L’oreal Colour Trophy Awards, qualified in Advanced Hairdressing in 1969, became a holder of a Master Craftsman diploma in 1973, now has many years of experience in all aspects of her profession. Heather specialises particularly in perming and colour correction and was know locally as the "perming queen" of Clevedon.  “I have a real passion for my profession. I get a real buzz when someone comes in with a hair disaster and after putting their trust in me, goes out feeling and looking great. I love colouring and creating luxurious curls and giving limp hair some body with the modern perming techniques ”.
